The brainchild of founders Arama Kukutai, Francene Wineti and Dean Tilyard – Te Ara Pōtiki is an indigenous global knowledge exchange programme in the agri-food sector which will place Māori candidates into world-leading agri-food companies in the United States and beyond.

Their internships are three months and will see Māori innovators placed during the next three years, beginning with an inaugural cohort in the first half of 2024.

Their aim is to be a catalyst, inspiring a new generation of Māori to think global and expand their horizons in the food and agriculture sectors.
